Margo Howard
NAANA Secretary

I was born and raised in California. My post-secondary education was at UC Santa Cruz (BA) and then at SF State (RN and MSN). I completed both the AN and RE foundation courses in 2019 and have been lucky enough to be able to offer compresses and RE to patients of Anthroposophic doctors Carmen Hering and Tiffany Baer in their practice in Albany, CA since that time.

Since  December 2022, I am working as a school nurse at the local public high school.  I love the kids (and appreciate the adults) and I know deep in my bones that both Anthroposophy and my son’s challenging teenage years prepared me exquisitely for the job!!  I live with my husband, Jose, in San Leandro, CA. Our children, Emilia and Nicolai, are away at college, though they return from time to time to visit the family dog, Isis.

Tina Galgon-Herr RN, BSN, ANS, RES
NAANA Board Member, Development Chair

Tina lives in the beautiful foothills of Boulder, Colorado. She has been a nurse for 28 years. She currently works in the Intensive Care Unit at Boulder Community Health. She also has several patients in the community who see her for Rhythmical Einreibung.

Tina’s hope for her new role as Development Chair of NAANA is to continue the development, enthusiasm and awareness of Anthroposophical Nursing in North America. The art of nursing lies within Anthroposophical Nursing; it is a gift to humanity.
